About Me
I was born in Westport Connecticut where I graduated High School. Afterwards I traveled west to beautiful Colorado, where I graduated from Colorado State University (CSU) with a B.S. in Horticulture and a minor in Animal Science. Additionally from CSU, I received my Riding Instructor's Teaching Certificate in Western Riding and English Training.
I have been teaching, primarily dressage for over 35 years. I am very passionate about correct classical training of the horse with clarity and kindness for both horse and rider. I work with all breeds of horses and teach all levels of riders. My only requirement is that the student really wants to learn.

Not only do I love teaching but I enjoy riding and competing. I have competed extensively through Grand Prix winning many year-end awards from both USDF and RMDS.

My home base is at Legacy Valley Farms in NW Arvada, where I train many students and my most recent partner, a 6 yr old Dutch mare who I purchased in 2015. I often travel to teach my regular students in the local Colorado area and within the U.S. and Canada for clinics, symposiums, lectures, and judging.
